Teaching that goes beyond words and rules — children begin to use the language confidently in real situations.
English is one of the most valuable skills a child can develop from an early age. That is why tuition at Elan School is designed so that pupils do not simply memorise new words and grammar rules, but begin to use the language confidently in real situations.
We work in a calm and motivating environment that encourages active participation, curiosity and confidence. Through varied practical tasks, conversation, exercises and interactive activities we develop all four core language skills — listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Every child progresses at their own pace, and our task is to help them realise their potential and build solid knowledge that will serve them for years to come.

Who for: pupils in Years 1–7
Groups: 5 to 12 pupils
Lesson: 1 astronomical hour
Formats: group, semi-individual, individual
Children start using the language in real situations, not only in their exercise books.
Words that stay with them because they are used, not crammed for a test.
We work on the sound of the language from the very first lessons, while it is easiest to absorb.
Rules are explained through use, step by step and as a coherent system.
The child understands the text rather than simply recognising individual words.
The ability to write an email, an essay or an answer clearly and correctly.
Confidence in class and strong performance in tests and exams.
The child follows a conversation, a film or a task in English without losing the thread.
From 5 to 12 pupils of similar age and level. Children speak with one another, learn from each other and progress at a calm rhythm — with enough time for every child's questions.
For pupils who need additional support, more intensive preparation or a flexible schedule. The programme is built around the age, level and goals of each pupil, allowing the most effective and lasting progress.
Specialised preparation for internationally recognised certificates, covering every exam component — reading, listening, writing and speaking — through practical exercises, mock tests and individual work with a teacher.
We run a separate programme for our youngest learners — the Saturday English Academy. English comes alive through games, songs, movement and creative play, at international Pre-A1 level, every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
The fee depends on your child's age, level and the form of tuition — group, semi-individual or individual. We state it plainly at our first conversation, before your child starts.
One phone call is all it takes. We will tell you about available places, the programme and the fee — clearly and with no surprises.
