Every great story begins with a dream.
Every dream begins with a first step.
Cinema is far more than a camera, lights and a film set. It is a way of observing the world, telling stories, building characters and reaching people through the power of genuine emotion.
Elan School is delighted to present its new strand — the Film Studio with director Borislav Kostov.
This is not a conventional acting course. It is an opportunity for children, teenagers and adults to encounter the real creative process of filmmaking, to work with a professional director and to develop their imagination, screen presence and ability to tell stories in the language of film.
The course combines practical exercises, work on camera, scene analysis, improvisation, character building and an introduction to the various stages of making a film.
Our aim is not to promise a quick career. Our aim is for participants to understand how real cinema is made — through observation, discipline, creativity and genuine work in front of the camera.
For some this will be an unforgettable creative experience. For others — the first step into the world of film.

Start: October 2026
Classes: every Saturday
Groups: ages 9–11, 12–14 and 18–45
Fee: 145 € per month
A film director, dramatist, producer and teacher who has devoted his professional life to cinema both as an art form and as a process of discovery.
In his practice he combines directing, work with actors, dramaturgy and the creation of original film projects. His approach centres on authentic presence in front of the camera, attention to detail and the development of each participant's individual potential.
In his classes he offers no ready-made recipes. He encourages participants to observe, to think, to search, to ask questions and to build their characters in a natural and convincing way. Working on camera demands concentration, discipline, partnership and honesty — and it is precisely these qualities that underpin the course.
For nearly thirty years Borislav Kostov has devoted his career to training future film professionals and to discovering new talent, which he encourages and supports as it develops.
Cinema brings together literature, music, visual art, psychology and human stories in a single whole.
For some this will be a new hobby. For others, a chance to develop their talent. And for others still — the first step into the professional world of cinema.
Theory, practical exercises and participation in real film projects. Classes are held in small groups, allowing an individual approach to every participant.
